Eric Lee Sanders, 54, of Yulee, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born February 22, 1971, in Fernandina Beach, Florida, Eric was the beloved son of Mable Russell and Robert Russell. Eric faced life's challenges with a quiet strength, a warm smile, and an unwavering kindness that touched the lives of everyone he knew. Eric is survived by his parents Mable and Robert Russell, sister Passion Hickson, two brothers Joseph Rauls Jr. and Demott Rauls, brother-in-law Torry Hickson, niece Victoria Hickson, nephew Branden Hickson, aunt Sherian Daniels, cousins Patria Williams, Synetta Lawson (William), Lucy Polk, Ervin Grant, Jimmy Simmons Jr., Tanya Baker, Janet Baker, Shaun Simmons (Erica), Maury Brown (Erica), Chrysten Simmons, Breyon Morgan, Parrish Morgan, Diamond Williams, Otis Green (Megan), Marquee Tyler (Sunkai), Marquiss Tyler, Brittney Holmes (Willis), Jelisa Johnson (Sean), Sherrian Blue and Jainna Blue. He was proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Rauls, grandmother Lucy Mae Delaney and uncle Jimmy Simmons. He was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School and enjoyed music, basketball, video games and traveling. He will be remembered by his kind heart, generosity, love of family, and the laughter he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held November 7, 2025, from 5-7 at Funerals by T.S. Warden and a funeral service will be held November 8, 2025, at 11:00.
