Eric Sauceda

Eric Sauceda, age 36, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2024. Beloved son, father, brother, and uncle was born on September 14, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Vicenta Sauceda; grandfather, Martin Rodriguez, Sr. and Ramon Machado Sr.
Eric is survived by his parents, Pablo and Diana Sauceda, Sr; brother, Pablo Sauceda, Jr (wife, Donna); sister, Patricia Piercey (husband, Jason); sister, Veronica Arredondo (husband, CJ); sister, Yesenia Martinez (husband, Tony); his daughter, Novy Gloriana Sauceda; nephews, Nathan Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Max Sauceda, JJ Arredondo, and Jase Piercey; nieces, Jazzy Arredondo, Mila Sauceda, and Miranda Piercey; grandmothers, Florinda Rodriguez and Lydia Machado; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Eric is honored and remembered as a beloved father with a heart of gold who was always willing to help those in need. He will also be remembered as a hard worker with high expectations who took pride in everything that he did. Everyone knew him as the life of the party with a smile that would light up a room. Our Eric will forever be loved, never forgotten and deeply missed. It's not goodbye, but until we meet again.
A visitation for Eric is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Hurley Funeral Home, starting at 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 pm. A prayer service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Hurley Funeral Home starting at 10:00 am followed by interment at First Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 20567 State Highway 16 S, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
