Eric D. Simonson

Franklin Township Eric D. Simonson, 34, a resident of Franklin Township passed away Saturday August 27, 2011, from complications of a sudden infection. He was born on March 27, 1977, in Portland, OR, a son of Keith and Inger (Bolsoy) Simonson. Eric was raised in Battle Ground, WA and graduated from the Battle Ground High School with the class of 1995. Since 1997, he has made his home in Hancock. On September 13, 1997, he was united in marriage to the former Maiken Wuebben. Mr. Simonson was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock. Eric's faith was very important in his life. Eric was employed with R.E.A. Power Company where he had worked as a Electrical Linesman. Preceding him in death were his grandfather Eino Simonson and his father-in-law Roland Wuebben. Surviving are: His wife: Maiken Simonson of Hancock His children: Max, Abby, Maggie, Nate, Jake, Annie and Les, all at home His parents: Keith and Inger Simonson of Battle Ground, WA His sisters: Christina (Kendall) Massie of Amboy, WA Anita (Clint) Johnson of Hancock Elisabet (Thomas) Ruonavaara of Hancock His mother-in-law: Sandra (Mike) Luusua of Chassell 12 brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & many christian friends Funeral services for Eric will be held 11:00 am Friday September 2, 2011 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock with Clarence Marttila and Steven Korpela to officiate. Burial will be in the Oskar Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday September 1, 2011from 5 to 8 pm at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Hancock.
