My memories of Ej is that he was a hard worker! I trained him for a number of years and no matter how hard I trained him he worked harder than the next athlete. Another memory of Ej is that he kept me laughing with comments about my training style! I give my condolences to Eric, Tammy and the family!

One of the things that I always loved about EJ was how obedient he was to his parents, especially when he did not understand the reason. His love and protection of his family meant something to him. I pray for God´s comfort to keep Eric, Tammie, Jazmyn and Diamond through these difficult times.

Rest easy lil cuzn, Sharon Sims

EJ was my 4th and youngest nephew´s , he was the splitting image of his father Eric Sims Sr as an infant. EJ also enjoyed baseball as a kid and he was very very good at it, being recruited by MLB as early as his freshman year in high school. I, had thoughts of professional baseball games in my near future, lol...however the Lord didn´t have the same plans as I had and has now called EJ Home and he is now in the bosom of the lord.

I send my condolences to Eric, Tammy and the family for the loss of EJ. My fondest memory is watching EJ play baseball. EJ had incredible talent and had so much potential. It seemed that the game was his peace!!!

My condolences goes out to you Big E, Tammy, your daughters and the rest of your family for the lost of E.J. I don´t even know what to say to either of you because the lost of a child is the worse pain any person can endure. Just know I´m here if you need to talk. His beautiful smile and warming Carismatic personality. A respectful young man. Ej was an unbiological son to me. The love for sports and talks of family was always a topic that was shared when he'd come over to our house. So many life lessons talks with a beautiful soul. That God had other plans for. Ej will be loved always and forever Cherished by all.

Above all the time we shared, the best part was when we had the those documentaries playing, history books and records of the past open. You caught the joke in the book of numbers that repeats every year. Great sight was seeing your growth mentally, growing into your old soul and appreciating that you were comfortable being you. Ej you are and will always be missed.

My first memory of my son was the day he was born. I was so excited to call him Eric Sims Jr. He made me so proud I was happy to have my son. He was a joy. I don't know how I'm going to go on without him. He was a pain at times but I would take just to have my. Son I will miss you ever day for the rest of my life. I love you miss you
