Eric Redmond Sisson Eric Redmond Sisson, 55, of Kent, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Stow Glen Retirement Center, after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 9, 1957 in Bay Village, Ohio for Robert Lawrence Sisson and Margaret Jean (Greer) Sisson. Eric graduated Kent Roosevelt High School in 1976. He was a free style skier, talented painter, artist and an Eagle Scout. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his daughter Amy (Eric) Olsen of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren Cole Olsen, Evan Olsen, Hannah Olsen and Bennett Olsen; mother Jean (Greer) Sisson of Kent; sister Carol Sisson Manges of Kent; brother Michael Sisson of Kent; nieces Christina (Stephan) Duncan, Taylor Sisson, Alea Sisson; nephews Robbie Manges, Ren Sisson; and birthmother Jeanne Hood of Willoughby, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Larry Sisson, grandparents Redmond and Ruth Greer. A memorial service will be held at Kent United Church of Christ 1400 E. Main Street Kent, beginning at 12 noon, Saturday, August 24th the Rev. David Pattee officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10 a.m. to noon.
