Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Oklahoma Chapel - MilwaukeeEric E. Speelman, 47, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1978, in Pennsylvania to Ernest and Linda (Haider) Speelman.
Eric was a social person who made friends easily and was known as a true jack-of-all-trades. With an engineer’s mindset, he enjoyed figuring things out and working with his hands. He was intelligent, determined, and at times stubborn, but those who knew him best appreciated his curiosity and willingness to help others. In his free time, Eric enjoyed bowling, playing darts, visiting amusement parks, and tending to his fish tanks.
Eric is survived by his children, Alexandra, Leland, and Elijah; his grandchildren, Nirvana and Hazel; his mother, Linda; and his siblings E.J. (Rosie), Rhonda (Mike), Fred, Lindsay (Efrain), Evan, Ramona, and Erin (Rosa). He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest, and his brother, Eugene.
Visitation will be held at MAX A. SASS & SONS OKLAHOMA CHAPEL (1515 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee) on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Eric’s name to a charity of your choice.
