Spiderman comic books, matchbox cars and Trixie the dog. My uncle was sharply brilliant, very stubborn, quietly unorganized and sometimes clumsy. He introduced me to the worlds of C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolkien. Comic books, baseball cards and matchbox cars. He was a master at Trivial Pursuit and Classic Movies. He was also one of the pickiest eaters I've ever ever met. Greatly disliked foods touching each other. Was squeamish about hugs too. He always corrected my grammar. My speaking and writing. I accepted the corrections mostly because he was afterall...correct. And he liked the company of cats . He enjoyed the Christmas cards I sent him year after year. He loved to sing Christmas songs with the family while I accompanied with the flute. Yes...I will miss him lots . He shall live on in my memories.

Eric, started doing my taxes and it was a complex one. Despite that, I quickly saw his attention to detail and his poise. I always loved how nothing seemed to bother him. Over the years, I got to see multiple sides of a man in those four hours. I saw toughness when he fell, kindness to his co workers, humility in the simplicity he lived, intelligence, a sneaky sense of humor and gratitude for small acts of kindness. Eric, was what God call us to. I will miss him and consider him a friend
