LA SALLE – Eric J. Timmons, 47, of La Salle, passed away January 6, 2021 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is entrusted with Eric's funeral arrangements.
Eric was born in La Salle on October 31, 1973 to John and Melanie (Brown) Timmons. He worked construction.He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, camping, swimming, cooking and music. He was generous with everything he had.
Eric is survived by his mother, Melanie Timmons of La Salle; his father, John (Karen) Timmons of Iowa City; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Brown of La Salle; five children, Colleen, Carah, Christina, Caramae, and Allyvia; two grandchildren, Seth and Zera; three sisters, Dawn Timmons of La Salle, Lisa Timmons of Arrowsmith, IL and Niki (John Gibson) Timmons of La Salle; his life partner, Tracy Pennington of La Salle; nieces and nephews, Kashia, Justis, Kryden, Lainie, Cody, Ryan, Ella and Ronnie; great-nephew Malikye; and aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by one brother in infancy, Zack Timmons; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Malone; two aunts; and one uncle.
