Eric F. Vowinkel

I met Eric in my first year of high school. Everyone thought it was so kool that he lived so close to Bound Brook High.
We were friends instantly and remained so until his passing, making sure to keep in touch throughout the years.
I visited Bound Brook just months before he died. Eric and I hung out a few times during that visit, catching up and whatnot.
There was a party that we both attended. We both stayed much later than everyone else, sitting side by side, for hours, looking at his favorite photos on his laptop and reconnecting after not having seen each other in a while.
That time I spent with him that night has become so precious to me because he passed just months after that.
Eric I will love you forever.

Eric was my friend for 55 years. He was one of the most kind and caring person I have ever known. His heart was big and wide open even though the years of life were not always easy for him.
And, even though I only saw him occasionally, he was one of my closest friends. And when we did see each other, it was like no time had passed by. We just picked up where we left off.
I am so grateful we were able to spend time together this past summer! I love him so much!
