I found this announcement by chance just a few minutes ago when searching for new pictures of the now Wiesbaden High School - and am totally shocked. Erick, Jim Sharkey and I were very close friends in high school there I believe during their senior year and my freshman college year (night school). The last time Erick and I communicated was when I was setting up a reunion that was held in Atlanta in 2000. Thought he was living around Charleston in those days.
My thoughts go out to his wife and two children. He was a terrific guy that I am very proud to have been able to call a friend. Rest in Peace, Erick!
