Franklin, WI passed away unexpectedly at home on July 25, 2023 at the age of 74.
Erick was born on September 5, 1948 in
Waukegan, IL and served with distinction as a Captain for the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department for over 25 years. Over those 25 years, Rick served Milwaukee County as part of patrol, in the jail, and in the courts. Rick's most precious part of his life was his family.
Rick is survived by his loving wife Ann; beloved son Erich; beloved daughter Kristin (Chad) Harris; granddaughter Olivia and sister Linda (Ken) Hojnacki. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Erick was preceded in death by his Father, Erich; Mother, Ruth and and half-sister Elaine (Richard) Wroblewski.
A visitation and funeral service will be held in honor of Rick on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at Hales Corners Lutheran Church (12300 W Janesville Rd.). The visitation will be held from 2-4pm, and the funeral service will begin at 4pm.
Rick will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Park in
Greenfield, WI.
