Erik Bertelsen Obituary
Erik Cecil Bertelsen our brother, grandson, cousin, and friend passed away on January 1, 2025. Erik was born and raised in West Valley City.
Erik attended and graduated Granger High School and developed many great skills of a handyman. These traits were passed down by his father, Kerry Bertelsen. Erik had a love for music.
His favorite genres was rap and hip-hop. Erik had developed a talent for rapping and writing music lyrics. Erik loved to joke and tease his big sister Jennifer and loved watching sports with his mother, father, and brother.
Erik enjoyed anything that was physically challenging for him. From a young age Erik played many sports such as football, basketball, and soccer. Eric also trained in boxing and weight lifting. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and you would always see him rocking the Dallas star in any outfit he wore.
Erik will be loved and missed.
Erik is survived by his siblings Jennifer Galloway, Easton Bertelsen.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood road, Taylorsville.
