I just heard of Erik´s passing and I´m so saddened by the news. I have many fond memories of Erik from school and our time in scouting. I am the leader for my son´s den in Cub Scouts here in RI. Every year for the Pinewood Derby, I have told the kids in my den that it is all about doing your best and having fun. I tell them, "I never won the Pinewood when I was in Cub Scouts because Erik Olsen always dominated!" That´s a good memory I will always carry with me. He was always a good sport and a funny and engaging person to be around. He was so knowledgeable about computers and many areas of interest. I wish his family the best in dealing with this loss. He will be missed.
