Erika Jean Doherty (maiden name Nielsen) was born May 25, 1940 in the Bronx NY. She married Tom in 1961. In 1973 they moved to Tuckahoe where she resided for almost 50 years. Tom passed away in 2007. They had 2 children Tom who currently resides with his wife Carol in Rutherford NJ and John who resides in Eastchester with his wife Chrissy. She had 4 grandchildren Matthew, Kevin, Nicole and John. And 6 great grandchildren. Luca, Gianna, Veda, Rory, Nora and Ford.
Erika's parents were Harold and Sieke Nielsen. She had a brother Harold and sister Birdie who previously passed away. A funeral service will be held at the Village Lutheran Church in Bronxville at 12 noon, Monday May 22nd. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Dom Cecere Play for 10 Foundation - PO Box 354 Eastchester NY 10709 https://playfor10.org/
