Erin Fowler Poole, 27, a cherished daughter, beloved wife, and devoted friend, passed away on September 12, 2025, at her residence in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She was born on May 2, 1998 in Tifton, Georgia, and her warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
A funeral service to celebrate Erin's life will be held on September 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors, located at 1020 Tift Ave N., Tifton, GA 31794. The service will be a time for family and friends to come together to honor Erin’s beautiful soul and the impact she made during her time with us.
Erin was a dedicated healthcare professional, having graduated from ABAC in Nursing. She built her career at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia, where her compassion and commitment to her patients shone brightly.
Erin’s passion for life was evident in her many interests. She enjoyed living life to the fullest with her husband, D. J. Poole. Together, they created countless memories while hunting and fishing, often retreating to the mountains for a breath of fresh air. Though she was known to be part of the male camaraderie, Erin found joy in indulging in self-care, often treating herself to manicures. A true Georgia Bulldogs fan, her enthusiasm for the team was infectious. Most significantly, Erin held a deep love for Jesus and treasured her time spent in church, where her faith provided her with strength and guidance.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie "D.J." Jeffery Poole; her father, Stan L. Fowler (Stacey); her mother, Tammy P. Fowler (Hector); her brother, Brayden Fowler; her sister, Maria Miley (Shane); her grandparents, Bill and Tish Bryant and Elwyn Fowler; her great grandmother, Glenda Whiddon “Gma”; her brother-in-law, Dawson Horton (Melissa); and her father-in-law, Jeffrey Poole and Mother-in-law, Candice Whitehead (Tim).
Predeceased by her grandparents, Howard and Jackie Pearman, Erin leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and laughter. Her family and friends will remember her dynamic spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
