Erin Margaret (Johnson) Elderbroom, age 42, passed away on October 24, 2024, in North Syracuse. Born on November 2, 1981, Erin was known for her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Erin deeply cherished her three children and was a proud and loving mother. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious. She was particularly passionate about supporting her favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills. Even during challenging times, Erin remained a steadfast presence in the lives of those she cared about, always making time to support and care for anyone in need.
She is survived by her children, Tyler, Megan, and Sophie; her mother, Judy DiSpirito; her father, John (Rebecca) Johnson; sisters, Jaime (Joey) Bolognone and Sacha (Helena) DeBarr-Campbell; brothers, John (Katherine Satimore) Johnson II, Timothy Johnson and Robert (Kim) DeBarr; granddaughter, Nicole Elderbroom; nieces, Makayla, Julia and Nora Bolognone; nephew, Nick Campbell; and former husband, Matt (Mandy) Elderbroom.
Erin's presence will be profoundly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Erin's love for music and spending time with her family were among her most cherished times. These moments of joy and her enthusiastic cheers during Bills games will be fondly remembered by her loved ones.
Calling hours will be held Saturday November 9, 2024 from 10-12PM at Believer's Chapel, 7912 Thompson Rd, Cicero, NY 13039, with a service to follow at 12PM. Contributions may be made in Erin's memory to help her family navigate through this difficult time.
