Erma Bonita Peck Adamson passed away peacefully on the morning of February 3, 2026 at the age of 92. She was born on November 24, 1933, in Carey, Idaho, to Justin and Anna Peck. She was the second youngest of nine children.
Erma married her high school sweetheart and love of her life on December 30, 1952, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, and spent her life in Carey, Idaho. She found joy in spring flowers and gardening. She loved camping with her family, riding motorcycles and working in the family business.
It was important for her to spend time with loved ones. She loved the gospel and enjoyed serving others. She also loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. One of her favorite church callings was Primary chorister.
Erma was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She was the proud mother of six children, grandmother to 49 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 97 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend, Robert Don Adamson; her son, Craig Lee Adamson; and her spoiled dog, Honey Bear.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Robert K. Adamson (Deanna); daughter-in-law, Betty Adamson (widow of Craig Lee Adamson); Jed Eldon Adamson (Anita); Brent Richard Adamson (Debbie); Jill Ward (Ken); and Jan Walgamott (Russell).
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, with a viewing beginning at Noon, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Carey Ward, Carey, Idaho. Grave dedication will conclude at Carey Cemetery.
