Erma Jamison

Erma Elizabeth (Razor) Jamison was born on January 9, 1941, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. She passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Those who were lucky enough to know Erma need not read her life's resume to understand how wonderful she truly was. Her smile was contagious, she could cook anything and make it taste good, and her hugs cured any problem. A lot of people called her "Mamaw Erma", and we were ok with that because we knew what kind of gold mine we were sitting on and not sharing that would just be selfish. She loved a lot of things, but there was nothing she loved more than her daughters, her grand babies, sporting events, and her beloved Dairy Bar. She selflessly poured every ounce of herself into each of these things until the day she gained her wings. Although we feel her time on this earth was unfortunately cut short, she leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
Erma was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jackie Jamison, whom she is united with, once again; Parents Mable (Razor) Boden and Kelly Razor; Grandparents William and Elizabeth Razor and John Williams and Lucy Maze; brothers Clinton Razor and Deward Razor.
She is survived by, two beautiful Daughters, Kelly (Buddy) Wilson and Pam (Rich) DeAngelis; Six (6) Grandchildren, whom her world revolved around, Brian (Matt) Jones, Brooks (Amy) Conley, Jenne DeAngelis, Zach (McKenzie) Horton, Jack Wilson, Blaine Wilson; Four (4) Great Grandchildren: Sophie Conley, Sadie Conley, Millie Horton, Maria Horton; brothers Donnie (Barb) Razor, Foy (Georgeann) Razor; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Bath County Athletics in Erma's honor so she can continue to bless something that brought her so much joy. Please make checks payable to Bath Co. Board of Education at 405 W. Main Street.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Owingsville First Church of God.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Owingsville First Church of God with Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
