Erma Pauline Raver

Erma P. (Henry) Raver, 98, died August 2, 2025 at Seaton Springwood, in York. She was the wife of the late Clinton E. Raver for 65 years.

Erma was born May 20, 1927 in Red Lion, PA to the late Michael E. Henry and Amanda A. (Krout) Henry. She was the youngest of their ten children.

She graduated from Red Lion high school in 1945. Erma retired from WellSpan York Hospital as a nurse in the stroke unit. She was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church of York, Conewago Garden Club, and the York Quilters Guild.

Erma Is survived by two daughters, Donna E. Fox and her husband Larry of York, and Gail A. Raver, and her husband Robert Mummert of York; one son, Thomas M. Raver and his wife Vickie McCready of York; one granddaughter, Angela M. Clark and her husband Parrish of York; two great-grandsons Ethan P. Clark and wife Anita of Mt. Joy, and Aidan R. Clark and fiancée Elizabeth Stayman of Manchester; and one great-great-grandson, Grayson Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five brothers; and four sisters.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 11:00am until a funeral service begins at 12:00pm at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
