Ernest Robert "Bob" Bart Sr.

Ernest Robert "Bob" Bart, Sr., 84, of Shinnston, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Clarksburg, December 1, 1941, the son of the late John and Margaret A. Bartlett Bart.

Bob is survived by his wife, Beverly Joyce Baker Bart, whom he married, January 26, 1980; children: Kenneth Wayne Bart, Shinnston, First Sergeant, William Dale Bart and wife Kathy, Kansas, Mary Margaret Wells and her husband Tim, Terra Alta, Ernest Robert Bart, II and his wife Jenny, Lumberport; grandchildren: Ernest Robert "Bobby" Bart, III, Meadow Grace Wells and her companion Blayne Fearer, Camden Marshall Hunter Wells, Andrew Joseph " A.J." Bart and his companion Allie Bragg, Jacob Anthony Bart, Brody Thomas Hagan, Sumiko Liaiyh Bart, Tsion Eugene Greenfield Bart; and special friends, Corey and Jennifer Hagan. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, John David Bart.

Bob was a Meat Cutter by trade and was employed by several area businesses over the years including: Thorofare Market, Clarksburg, Garden Fresh, Clarksburg, Foodland, Bridgeport, Shop N Save, and Hyde's Meat Market, Enterprise. Bob loved farming and gardening. He always enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities.

At the request of the family, there will be no public services. Private interment will be at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bart family.
