Ernest Bosch

Ernest (Ernie) Bosch, age 85, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Jean (Weenum) Bosch in 2014, his sister, Janet Lubbers, and his brothers, Jerry, Henry, Harven, and Anthony. Ernest is survived by his children Roger and Esther Bosch, Bette Tolliver, Elaine and Rick Hannink, and Deb and Jeff Katzenberger; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Alfred and Evelyn Bosch, sister Sarah Tucker; in-laws: Hazel Bosch Harvey and Dorothy Weenum, John Weenum, Bob and Lillian Weenum, Jim and Mable Westerling, and several nieces and nephews. Ernie was an active member of Niekerk Christian Reformed Church where he served joyfully as deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher, and calling elder for nearly 30 years. He was also privileged to work as an on-call chaplain for Holland Hospital for 17 years. Ernie was a selfless, humble, and caring person that joyfully went about his work "all for the Lord"! The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Niekerk Christian Reformed Church, 545 Country Club Road, Holland. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. March 20, 2016, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland.
