EARL SEDLIK

March 21, 2016

On behalf of his section mates at Harvard Business School, please accept our sympathies for this loss. Rex was a positive and respected classmate from 1966 to 1968. He exuded calm and wisdom as he participated in many lively case discussions of emotion and exploration. He was honored by all and admired by all. Rex transcended the barrier that his outstanding military credentials might have dissociated him from the civilian core of our educational experience. It was a treat to be his classmate.
We're all certain that his distinguished military career served to enlighten many other devoted professionals. For us, as newly minted manager wannabes, he exuded confidence, competence, and admirable professionalism that modeled our future.
Rex was special.
