Ernest Carroll Obituary
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Irene (Masse) and Ernest J. Carroll, Sr. He had lived in Johnston since 1974. He was a US Marine and attained the rank of Sergeant.
He worked at Integrity Air Services.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Jeffrey Carroll and his wife, Rosanna Rickers of Warwick and Stephanie LaPointe of Granby, CT, his two grandchildren: Lainey and Oliver and his sisters: Susan Layne, Denise Noel and Carol Loe. He was the brother of the late Janet Hargett and David Carroll.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be Friday morning 8-9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

My dearest Kathy,Jeffrey,and Stephanie and grandchildren , my deepest sympathies on the loss of Ernie, words cannot describe the kindness of this special man, I will never forget how he, and Kathy had my Mom over for dinner every Sunday, during the summer months , and always teasing me when I would call on the phone and stop by for visits..He use to say I knew when Kathy baked , that I must have smelled it...His other favorite to me was, Their goes the neighborhood, we will always have him in our hearts , May-he rest in the arms of our Lord Jesus , thoughts and prayers are with you all cousin Joan
