Ernest Mari Obituary
Born November 26, 1932, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ida (Capriotti) Mari.
Ernest had many interests, such as photography, music, and lighthouses as well as taking pictures for the wine club. He worked many years as an engineer at Taco, Inc. Ernest proudly served our country during the Korean War, serving with the US Army.
In addition to his wife of 68 years, he leaves his children, Sandra (Frank) Weeks, Michael (Leona) Mari and Carol (Robert) Rebussini; his grandchildren, Brian (Laura) Weeks, Dr. Craig Weeks, Erica Rebussini Esq., and Robert (Alyssa) Rebussini Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Leonard Weeks and Luke Weeks.
Ernest was the brother of Alice Langton of Virginia, Anna Capizzi of Pennsylvania, and the late Susan Alfonsi. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, friends and family. He was the brother-in-law of Rita and Jake Bedrosian.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 12, at 11am in St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the MS Dream Center of Rhode Island, 300 Toll Gate Rd # 104, Warwick, RI 02886.
