Ernest G. Pecci, fondly known as Ernie, passed away on June 11, 2025, in Woburn, MA, after battling a lengthy illness. Born on July 24, 1945, in Boston, MA, he was a cherished member of his family. Ernie was deeply committed to his loved ones, embodying the spirit of loving uncle throughout his life. He was known for his unwavering support of his brother, Robert G. Pecci, both in business and in life. To Ernie, Robert's family was his family, and he took profound joy in the accomplishments and activities of Robert’s children and grandchildren, remaining ever-interested and involved as though they were his own. A proud veteran, Ernie served in the United States Marines, after which he carried forward the values of duty and honor throughout his life. He found pleasure in simple joys, often immersing himself in the world of sports. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots, enjoying the thrill of their games and celebrating their victories. Ernie is survived by his beloved brother Robert G. Pecci; his nephew Daniel R. Pecci; his niece Elise M. Sime; his sister-in-law Joanne M. Pecci; and his great nieces Gabriella Sime and Sophia Sime. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Pecci and Ernest Pecci, Sr.
A Visitation will be held on June 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Barile Family Funeral Home-Stoneham, located at 482 Main Street, Stoneham, MA 02180.
