A life well lived obituary
Ernest Randolph, age 52, passed away peacefully at home in Staten Island, New York, on Wednesday, December 24'h 2025, after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.
Ernest, affctionately known as "Big Man" and
"Steamo" was born in Brooklyn, New York, On June 12,1973 to late Dianne Randolph.
During his early years, Ernest attended several elementary and ultimately graduated from P.S. 183 and Junior High School 275. He continued his education at South Shore High School, eventually earning his GED.
Throughout his life, Ernest was a hardworking and determined man. He worked in various fields before ultimately becoming an entrepreneur. Known as a jack of all trades, Ernest was self-employed, working as a driver and vendor, often operating his own icy cart and Heavy Hitter Security. He loved driving, and being on the road brought him a sense of peace and freedom.
Ernest had a vibrant personality and a sharp sense of style. He loved colorful, well-coordinatd outfits, his socks always had to match the fit. He also had a passion for photography and capturing the moments. you rarely saw Ernest without him snapping a flick, always ready to take a picture and preserve the moment.
From childhood, Ernest was proudly affiliated with a close-knit group known as " LO LIFE" a bond that remained meaningful throughout his life.
Ernest loved to be around his family. Ernest leaves behind a legacy of love through his siblings Trysheema, Tyquwan, and Unique: his children Quanasia, Shynasia, Khalil, Amaziah, Makayla, Heaven, Sevin, Evin, Michael, Dianne, and Devin: and his three grandchildren Shylah, Quanell, and Quinniah. He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, many cousins and friends near and far.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dianne Randolph, his grandmother Eula Mae, and his aunt Sylvia.
