Mr. Ernest J. Respress Jr.

I was friends with Ernest during my 10th grade year and so on at Hampton High School. He was an exceptional young man and really my only friend in the gym class that we shared. Everyday in class we’d always find each other and laugh and joke & sometimes have real deep thought provoking conversations. He always had my best interest. I had found out that he passed via social media on the day of the funeral..I wish I could’ve helped send him off. I wish I could’ve had one more conversation with him. and last of all I wish it didn’t happen like this. May the Lord God continue to be in the presence of his family at all times.

Ernest and my son Kareem were long distance friends that played on the PlayStation for many years and became really good friends. My son is very heartbroken over the loss of Ernest and traveled from Texas to pay his respects. He is also 20. I can´t imagine what Ernests family is going through. I am so sorry for your loss. May he RIP.
