Ernest Paul Saiz

Ernest Paul Saiz (Vern) was born on July 3, 1965, in Las Vegas, NM to Raymundo Saiz and Magdelena Apodaca. He passed away at home with his family, December 5, 2024.
Ernest grew up cowboying and ranching for a good part of his life. Some of his fondest memories were from these times out in the ranches with his familia. He loved football and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Vern loved people and had many friends who cherished him very much. He will always be remembered and forever missed.
Ernest is survived by his family; parents, Ray and Margie Saiz; brothers, Arthur (Yvonne) Saiz, Jimmy (Lisa) Saiz, Robert (Monica) Saiz; sisters, Annabelle Estrada, and Theresa Saiz (Donald Guerin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom he loved very, very much and who loved him in return.
A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 7:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 9:00am also at Immaculate Conception Church with the following serving as Pallbearers, Jopi Gutierrez, Kenneth Yara, Adrian Valdez, Robert Saiz, Jr., Jeffrey Saiz, Santana Saiz, and William Evans. Honorary Pallbearers are Pat Trujillo, Navaeh Evans, and Leslieann Reichel.
