Ernest "EJ" Sheppard

Ernest Jackson "EJ" Sheppard, 46, of Arcadia, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. Born on May 27, 1979, to Edward Wayne and Shron Bracknell Sheppard in Opelika, Alabama.

EJ was the best husband, pepal, brother, uncle, son, dad, and a friend to all. EJ was someone who didn't care what the situation was he was going to find a way to fix it. A man who worked hard to provide for his life. Between working all day and night when he could and still fighting for himself in the end. No matter how hard it was for him, He still had so much love for everyone especially Laure (his wife), family, or someone he just met. If you were someone who got to meet and understand him, you were considered family and he would have moved mountains to make sure you were okay no matter the situation. He has showed us all that even though the situation is bad it could always be worse and to be thankful you have the chance to try then not to be able to try at all. Always believe in yourself and your dreams because you are going to be the only one to make it happen for yourself.

EJ is survived by Laure Sheppard, Hannah Sheppard, Kaylee Sheppard, Jadan Sheppard, Clayton and Journie, Sharon Sheppard, Shanda Sheppard, Jeffery Sheppard, Wyatt, Colby, and Shelby Sheppard, and Linda Underwood.
