Rest in peace old friend! I'm blessed to have known you, and call you a friend.

I really don't know where to begin when it comes to the many things that Ern meant to those of us that loved him. There was never a time that I can recall when Ern wasn't living life to the fullest. He rode hard, played hard, and was always willing to help a friend in need. He was probably one of the most generous people I have known. We were friends for around 20 years, then wefe married for 9 months, then got over it and remained good friends for the next 20 years. I am proud to say that Ernie Wade was a very good friend of mine.
I wish that his obituary would have said something about the 62 years in between his life and death, because he most certainly did have a very active life. He not only loved motorcycles, but Ernie loved his friends and his family. The last few years he stayed close to his folks and was always trying to help them in any way they needed. He was more than happy to spend time with them. I hope that everyone will remember his laugh. I hope we see him again one day, if heaven can hold him down long enough for us to get there. REST IN PEACE, MY FRIEND. With love and respect...Foot Blakley
