Ernestine Rackley

Ernestine Rackley, age 70, of Russellville, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. A daughter of the late Ernest and Clarissa Bray Mitchell, she was born May 8, 1938 at DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Christine Cude. Survivors include her husband, Jerral Rackley; two sons and daughters-in-law: Billy and Judy Bower of Hector; and Bobby and Cathy Bower of Russellville; a very special step-grandson, Chad Cole of the home; two sisters: Ruby Graham of Sherwood; and Helen Brewer of Pottsville; five grandchildren: Stacy Killingsworth of Sherwood; Sheena Harrison of Russellville; Brooke Southard of Atkins; Michelle Perea of Russellville; and David Bower of Dover; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Joyce Mayhan. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Atkins, by Shinn Funeral Service. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 6 to 7 P.M., at the funeral home.
