She is survived by her son Mark DeVita, daughter Alyssa DeVita, grandsons Kyle Rich and Chris DeVita, great-grandsons Saylor and Elias Rich, her cousin Mary-Katherine Ferrara, and her former husband and the father of her children, Carl DeVita.
Ernetta was a woman of simple joys and steadfast values. She poured her heart into everything she did-especially her cooking. To be in her kitchen was to be surrounded by warmth, care, and the aromas of lovingly prepared meals.
