Ernie Hydes Obituary
Buddy is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Karen Hydes; his daughters Eydie Chmielewski (Dave) and Christine Sutton (Scott); his five grandchildren Cory Chmielewski (Tiffany), Katie Dolack (Michael), Brandi Morais (Matthew), Jacob Sutton, and Lily Sutton; and his five great grandchildren.
Buddy was a proud Marine combat veteran who served two tours in the Vietnam War. His commitment to his country was unwavering and he was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. His greatest loves were God, family, golf and soccer.
We find comfort in knowing Buddy's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he had for his family and the memories we will cherish forever.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3:00pm at Loyless Funeral Homes, 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd, Land O' Lakes, Florida.
