Throughout his life, Ernie demonstrated an unwavering care for his loved ones. His empathetic and protective nature won the hearts of many, and his charisma and social spirit ensured that his family gatherings were filled with laughter and joy. With a keen sense of humor, he enjoyed being the jokester of the family, always ready with a witty remark or funny anecdote to lighten the mood.
Ernie was a man of many interests. A dedicated sports fan, he had a special place in his heart for the San Francisco 49ers, even though his family members were fanatics of the Dallas Cowboys—a playful rivalry that Ernie embraced wholeheartedly. He found great pleasure in playing racquetball and indulging in leisure activities such as poker and video games, often sharing these passions with friends and family.
As a proud father, Ernie's greatest accomplishments included owning his own business and nurturing his children, Ernie and Valerie. His commitment to their well-being and happiness was evident in every interaction. He is survived by his loving mother, Ernestina Rodarte, and his siblings—Celina Padilla, Melisa Strunk, Monica Tovar, Javier Rodarte, and Michael Rodarte. Ernie’s legacy continues through his two precious grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy in his life.
Ernie Alonzo Rodarte will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the way he touched the hearts of those around him. His loyalty, loving nature, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
