Ervin Thomas Obituary
Ervin B. Thomas Jr., 71, of Paradise, Cottondale, Texas, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010, at home. He had been under in-home hospice care for five weeks.
He was born April 13, 1938, in Albemarle County, son of the late Irving Thomas and Mary Davis Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Proffitt.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Isaacson Thomas; sons, Russell and Douglas Thomas of Paradise; daughter, Kimberly Creamer of Burleson, Texas; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Franklin Thomas of Silver Spring, Maryland, Clifton Thomas of Ruckersville and Allen Thomas of Estero, Florida; and several nephews and nieces.
Ervin was a retired Heat Treat Specialist from Bell Helicopter/Textron where he was employed for 25 years. He served eight years in the United States Air Force.
In keeping with his wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial serive. As was his desire, his ashes will be taken to his childhood home in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Ruth and kids,
