My wife Ann and I are saddened to hear of Erv´s passing. We met Erv and Sharon while stationed at Ft. Leavenworth and attending Army Command and General Staff College. It was a pleasure to know both of them and to worship with them at the small chapel on the post. Sharon will probably remember our son, Matthew, who asked her one Sunday as we walked together to service and looking at her beautifully manicured hands asked "are those Lee Press On nails?" Erv was silenced and then laughed putting us at ease over our embarrassment. We still laugh about that and remember what a kind and wonderful servant of God and his fellow soldier he was. Our condolences to Sharon and the rest of the family
