Esperanza Serros

It is with great sadness that the family of Esperanza "Espy" Serros announce her passing. She passed comfortably and surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the age of 79. She was born in El Paso, Texas on October 10, 1943. She was the oldest daughter to the late Antonio Armenta and Victoria Ramirez-Armenta. In the summer of 1967, she married Juan Serros and they had 7 children: Johnny, Jimmy, Frank, Patricia, Rebecca, Ruben and Sergio. Her husband preceded her in death on December 25, 2007. She will be sadly missed by all 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, suviving siblings: Mary Bueno, Olga Armenta, Anna Chavez, and Mario Armenta. Esperanza was such a kind soul and an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, wife, dancer, seamstress and cook. Espy was known for her big heart and great hospitality. Although, we will miss her very much, we know that she is no longer suffering with dementia and is having the time of her life dancing away. Please join us as we celebrate he beautiful life and lay her to rest with her husband of many many years.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 15the 2023 at San Jose Funeral Home. Location of Services is 10950 Pellicano from the time of 9:30 am to 12:30 pm ( Rosary is at 11:00 am) followed by Burial at 1pm at Fort Bliss Cemetery.
