Christian Biography of Margaret Estaline Bouray
Margaret Estaline Bouray, the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Montgomery) Doxon, was born on July 30, 1937 in Concordia, Kansas. She passed away on January 24, 2021 at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 5 months, 25 days.
Estaline attended 1st grade at Formoso and the rest of her school years at Lovewell, graduating from Lovewell High School. She was a 50-year member of Republic United Methodist Church. Being baptized on May 9, 1971 by Pastor Loren Silsby.
On March 11, 1956, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Clay Bouray at Lovewell Methodist Church, Lovewell, Kansas. This union was blessed with five sons.
Estaline was a long-time member of Lovewell Library Club, life member of the Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, Church Trustee and other committees, Winter Texas orchestra and alumni, and she was a 4 H leader. She loved animals, especially, cows, dogs and cats, she always had a garden and did a lot of canning. She loved growing pretty flowers, and helping with the family and grandkids. She also helped Lawrence, build their home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Margaret; son Verle; and her brother James Delmer Doxon.
Survivors include her husband Lawrence; sons Lawrence Norman Jr. (Theresa) of Perry, Kansas; Dr. Myron Lyle of Hardy, Nebraska; Kent Olen (Betty) of Republic, Kansas, and Darwin Albert (Suzann) of Ellinwood, Kansas; 13 grandchildren: Cecelia, Cheryl, Jami, Jacki, Nathan, Neil, Vanessa, Klay, Dillon, Xavier, Xandra, Mason and Marek; 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Lance Rundus officiating.
Music was "In The Garden," and "It Is No Secret," with Stephanie Thayer as the vocalist and Carlita Price as the organist.
Visitation was held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers were Klay Bouray, Dillon Bouray, Xavier Bouray, Tim Dilley, Brad Williams, Ryan Benyshek, and Brandon Brolhorst.
Interment was in the Rosemound Cemetery, at Republic, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to go to Republic United Methodist Church.
