Esteban "Steve" Perry Rodriguez, 66 of Uvalde died Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his residence in Uvalde.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass is set for Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on August 2, 1957 in Uvalde to Rosalio Rodriguez and Irene Perry-Rodriguez.
He is survived by his one son; Esteban Perry Rodriguez II of Uvalde three daughters; Stephanie Garcia and husband Martin of Converse, Jillian Rodriguez of Uvalde, Brenda and husband Douglas Rodriguez-Waddell five sisters; Esther Gomez of Uvalde, Dora Canales of Houston, Elva Hernandez of Uvalde Andrea Zapata of Austin, Linda and husband Danny Chapa of Corpus Christi, 20 grandchildren. 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Steve was known by many for his great sense of humor and his jokes, he never had a dull moment were he didn't dance with his children and grandchildren in the living room. Steve was a lover of motorcycles, music and his family, he will be missed by all dearly.
He is preceded in death by both parents; Rosalio Rodriguez and Irene Perry Rodriguez one grandson; Bascion Waddell three brothers; Rosalio Rodriguez Jr. Joe Rodriguez, Roy Rodriguez three sisters; Josie Rodriguez, Gloria Barrera, Julia Rodriguez
Pallbearers: Martin Garcia Jr. of Converse, Doug Waddell, Trevor Waddell, Michael Anthony Vasquez, Dereck Villa, Esteban P. Rodriguez II all of Uvalde.
