Estella M. Stewart

Estella L. Stewart, born on March 19, 1939, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Irene Ennis and Earnest Coombs.
Estella's life was marked by resilience, dedication, and love. During the 1980s, she worked at the Mobile Reserve, serving her community with commitment. In the early 1990s, she migrated to the United States, where she began a new chapter at the University of Hartford. She remained there until her retirement, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and kindness.
Fondly known as Ms. Norma, Estella was cherished for her compassion, quick wit, and unwavering generosity. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and wisdom, and her presence brought joy to all who knew her.
Estella is survived by her devoted daughter, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two loving sisters, and a host of extended family and friends who will continue to honor her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Ennis and Earnest Coombs.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at Rehoboth Church of God, 1170 Blue Hills Ave, Bloomfield.
Her life will be celebrated not only for her accomplishments but for the love she gave so freely. Estella's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind
