Mrs. Ester Hayes, age 94 of Horton, Alabama, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Marshall Manor Nursing Home.
Memorial service will be held at Two o’clock pm Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Morris Stephens officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:30p.m-2:00p.m.
Mrs. Hayes was born in Alabama on March 26, 1930, to Alvie & Estell Sims Buchanan.
Mrs. Hayes is Survived by her Daughter: Julia Williams (Ivan) of Horton. Son: Lawayne Weeks (Elaine) of Horton. Grandchildren: Lashonda Goble (David), Chasity Weeks, Todd Williams. 7 Great Grandchildren & 14 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sister: Carolyn Crawford of Cullman. Brother: Elwyn Buchanan of Guntersville. A Host of Nieces & Nephews.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her Parents: Alvie & Estell Sims. Husband: Percy Hayes. 2 Brothers & 4 Sisters.
