Obituary of Ester Orense Ola

Ester Ola, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, on the birthday of her eldest sister. She was 75 years old.

Ester was born on April 30, 1950, in the Philippines, a meaningful date she shared with her father's birthday. She was the beloved daughter of Mariano Orense and Aurora Balgos, and the second youngest child among her siblings: Sonia, Charito, Manuel, and Marietta.

In 1973, Ester came to the United States, where she began building the life and family she would so lovingly dedicate herself to. On December 2, 1976, she married the love of her life, Rosauro Ola. Together they built a life rooted in family, resilience, and care.

Ester was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter, Faye, and her son, JR, and later found immense joy in being a grandmother to her two treasured grandchildren, Jaden and Chace.

She was known for her strong work ethic and nurturing spirit. Ester worked as a sales lady at a bakery and also as a nanny, roles that reflected her kindness, patience, and natural way with people and children. She was always willing to help others and put their needs before her own.

Around 2014, at the age of 64, Ester was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. She courageously battled these illnesses for over 11 years. Despite the challenges she faced, she remained deeply loved by those around her. Her family remembers her as delightfully absent-minded, warm-hearted, and endlessly helpful-someone who brought lightness and care into everyday moments.

Ester Ola was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rosauro Ola; her children, Faye and JR; her grandchildren, Jaden and Chace; and her sisters, Sonia, Charito, and Marietta.

Her legacy lives on through her family, who will forever carry her love, warmth, and memory in their hearts.
