Esther Jean Thoby, 71 years old, Born March 12, 1954 to Silenceux and Michela Jean in Limbe, Haiti. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and First Lady of Baptist Church of Resurrection of Norwalk. She is survived by her husband Rev. Obed Thoby, her children Frazer Thoby, Derby Thoby, Robens Thoby, Estherline Thoby-Ezeogu, and Lia Thoby. Grandchildren Derlyvans Thoby, Wandering Thoby, Anthony Aristhene, Cynthia Aristhene, Brian Thoby, Valencia Thoby, Lovely Thoby, Shirley Thoby, Evans Thoby, Jeremiah Thoby, Samuel Thoby, Brianna Thoby, Alma Thoby, Aden Thoby, Elijah Thoby, Benjamin Strom, Nyasia Thoby, and Daniel Ezeogu. Siblings Eli Jean, William Jean and son in law Christopher Ezeogu and daughter in law Carmelle Thoby. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved cooking and demonstrated her love to her family and the community through food. She was an amazing wife and mother, she will truly be missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
