Esther Elaine VanDenDriessche

Esther Elaine VanDenDriessche, age 80, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was born March 29, 1941, in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Maurice and Darlene (Wilbur) Baldwin. Esther was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and had a love for horses. Esther always looked forward to spending time at their place up north.
Esther is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward G.; children: Henry "Hank" (Rose) VanDenDriessche, Dawn (Dennis) Embree; grandchildren: George (Michelle) VanDenDriessche, Sam (Hanna) VanDenDriessche, Caleb Embree, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Embree; great-grandchildren: Weston VanDenDriessche, Thomas VanDenDriessche; siblings: Phyllis Preston, Joyce Littlefield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ned Baldwin.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 12:30 P.M. at Bosworth Cemetery in Olivet.
