Dear Yasger family, I live on Monroe in Columbia Heights and often stopped to talk with your mother on my way up or down the alley. She was quite a woman - in her late 80's and still hanging out her wash and cutting the grass and planting that big garden. I will use her as a role model. The young family that bought your mother's house is putting the garden space to good use. Our sympathy to all of you.

Dear Jim and Barbara and the Jasger family: God gave Esther to Theodore and from their love we all got Jim. God gave Barbara to Jim and from their love they had Diane. God directed our son, Andy, to Diane and we could not be happier. Thank you and Esther is in our prayers.
