Ethan Diedrich Lanterman, 31, passed away on October 4, 2025 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. He was born July 11, 1994, in Pratt, Kansas, the son of Jeffrey Karl and Lorrie Jo (Moore) Lanterman. He was a Corrections Officer at the Larned Correctional Facility, Larned, KS.
He graduated from St. John High School in 2012, where he was a member of the golf team.
Survivors include his parents of St. John, KS; a brother, Liam, St. John, KS; his fiancé Alexandria Perkins and her children, Lillian, Aiyana, and Anthony; grandparents, Gary and Carol Hawk, Great Bend, KS; four uncles, Eric (Tammy) Moore, Cliff (Kari) Moore, Rusty (Nannette) Hawk and John Moore, three aunts, Kala (Kevin) Maris, Heather (Daniel) Bordier, and Corol Taylor, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Minnis Chapel, 526 E. 4th St., St. John, KS with Frankie Huerter presiding. The family suggests that memorial donations may be given as a love gift to the family in care of Minnis Chapel, 526 E. 4th Ave, St. John, KS 67576.
