Ethan Andrew Patton, 36, of Medora, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the IU Health Bedford Hospital. Born January 11, 1990, in Bedford, IN, He was the son of Gregory Wayne and Donna Lynn (Edwards) Patton.

Ethan was a 2008 graduate of Brownstown High School. He worked in construction as a roofer for many years, and he also worked for McDonald's and the Golden Corral. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the homes of his grandmothers, and spending time with his family, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. Ethan will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ethan is survived by his mother, Donna Lynn (Chad Creech) Horn of Commiskey, IN; his siblings, Karen (Daniel) Blocker of Bedford, IN, Gregory Wayne "Bub" (Tabitha "Tabi") Patton Jr. of Brownstown, IN, Jude Horn of Commiskey, IN, Chrishana (Adam) Creech of North Vernon, IN, Donavan (Autumn) Creech of North Vernon, IN; his nieces and nephews, Bre'Anna, Nylah, Lucas, Dawson, JJ, Mia, and Dalton; his uncles and aunts, Marlin (Becca) Patton, Denver (Laura) Edwards, Jr; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Wayne Patton; grandparents, Marvin and Brenda Patton; grandfather, Denver Edwards; his aunts, Hazel Wilson and Kathy Stout; and his uncle, Mark Edwards.

Cremation has been chosen, and a celebration of life will be held at Liberty Christian Church in Norman, Indiana, on March 28th at 2:00 p.m.

The caring staff of Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Patton and his family.
