To the Bernard Family: My condolences to all of you. Ethel and Emile were my landlords for 23 years on Bernard St. They were both so joyful, thoughtful and very kind. I have very happy memories of both Ethel and Emile. I'm sure they are happy to be reunited again in God's presence. And I'm sure that they remain connected in love to all of you. God comfort you in this time of sorrow. Anita Plourde, Lewiston, ME, September 3, 2017

Sorry for your loss. I miss seeing Ethel's smile whenever I go to the hairdressers. She is at rest now. Take care and remember all of the good times you had with her. She was quite a lady.

Carol, Janice and Marlene,
Bill and I are so sorry for the loss of your mother, Ethel. Ethel and Emil were my God parents. I have so many memories of Ethel and my mom together and when my mom died in 2011 I was so happy to see Ethel there. She looked so good and recalled many times we had spent together when we were kids. Do you remember the holidays, Christmas and Thanksgiving? I still can see Ethel and Dorothy whipping around and getting things done. Along with being sisters they were also good friends.
Bill and I are truly sorry for your loss and pain right now. Sure wish I could make it to the funeral but we will keep you all in our prayers. Love to all and Ethel, you are now in heaven with all you siblings and your mom and dad.
