Ethel Chaffins Obituary
TIPP CITY - Ethel Chaffins, 98, died December 18, 2021 in Kerrville, Texas, formerly of Tipp City, OH. She was born July 21, 1923 in Fullerton, Kentucky to James and Malinda Collier. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold E. Chaffins and daughter Janis Parsons of Apache Junction, AZ. She is survived by her sons, Stephen and Judy Chaffins of Sioux Falls, SD and Gary and Janet Chaffins of Kerrville,TX, her son-in-law Stan Parsons of Apache Junction and her daughter, Malinda Goforth of Harvest, AL.
Ethel has 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church of Troy, Ohio. She loved to read mystery novels, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.
Graveside ceremony at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City will be Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com.
