Ethel Alice Croft

Ethel Alice Croft, age 88, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastors Mark Somers and Nathan Galloway officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Croft was a homemaker and loved studying the Bible. She adored her large family, especially her children, and spending time outside. She had a green thumb and enjoyed caring for a variety of plants and flowers. Some of her favorite things were quilting, swimming, grape soda, and going on walks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mae Burns; husband of 67 years, Fred Andrew Croft, Sr.; daughter, Cathy Garner; grandson, Jackson Croft; great-grandson, Mason Bell; and siblings, Linda Burns, Walter Burns, Arvil Burns, Marvin Burns, Jimmy Burns, Lenore Weaver, and Ruby Harris.
Survivors include her sons, Andy Croft, Benny Croft (Jeanette), Jeff Croft and Jason Croft (Tina); son-in-law, Maurice Garner; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Garland (Jeff), Jeremy Garner, Aimee Deese (Justin), Ashlee Croft, Scott Croft (Cassie), Kearston Croft, and Madison Croft; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob Bell, Jarret Croft, Maddi Croft, Carter Croft, Emmie Croft, Collette Deese, and Beau Deese; siblings Jack Burns, Kenneth Burns (Robin), Audrey Lathem, and Hazel Ramsdell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Garner, Jacob Bell, Scott Croft, Jarret Croft, Ashlee Croft, and Justin Deese.
